MPO Loopback modules are used widely in testing environments, especially parallel optics 400G networks. Devices allow verification and testing of transceivers featuring MPO interface – 400G QSFP-DD SR8 or 400G OSFP SR8. Loopbacks are built to link Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX) positions of MPO transceiver interfaces. MPO loopbacks can facilitate IL testing of optical network segments by connecting them to MPO trunks/patch leads.
