Application of 12 Core MPO/MTP Fiber Patch Cable

MPO and MTP fiber patch cables are widely used in high-density data center cabling solutions because of their high core count, small size, and high transmission rate. According to the number of cores, they can be divided into 12 cores, 16 cores, 24 cores, 48 cores, etc.

10G Ethernet Interconnection

The 10G Ethernet interconnect solution uses a 12-core fiber connection with a 12-core MPO/MTP connector at each end. This jumper is connected to a 24-core pre-terminated modular box with 12 duplex LC connectors on the front of the box, each supporting 12 dual-core LC fiber patch cords. The modular box can be installed in a high-density distribution box to provide management and protection for fiber optic cables. 1U high-density distribution box supports up to 48 duplex LCs (96 fibers).

10G/40G Ethernet Interconnect-1

The 10/40G Ethernet interconnect solution uses a 12-core fiber connection to support four 10G independent links. 12-core MPO/MTP fiber patch cable is connected to the adapter panel at one end and to the 24-core MPO pre-terminated module box connection module box at the other end, each module box supports 12 duplex LC fiber patch cables.

The 10/40G Ethernet interconnect solution uses 12 core fiber optic connections to support four 10G independent links. 12 core MPO/MTP fiber optic patch cords are connected to the adapter panel at both ends and each adapter panel supports six MPO/MTP fiber optic patch cords.

40G/100G Ethernet Interconnect

The 40/100G Ethernet interconnect solution uses 12-core fiber optic connections. 12-core MPO/MTP fiber optic patch cables are connected to the MPO adapter panel on both ends.
